Before coming to FSU, Jacob grew up in Mississippi and attended The University of Southern Mississippi for his undergraduate studies. After graduating, he followed his call to ministry by joining the Center for Youth Ministry Training (CYMT), where he was placed at a church in Kentucky to serve in youth ministry while pursuing his seminary education at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Austin, Texas.

During his time in Kentucky, Jacob met his wife, Hannah, who was also serving in youth ministry through CYMT. They now have a son named Gus, who is full of curiosity and wonder.

Jacob has been serving in full-time ministry for about six years and is excited to bring his passion for sharing the love of Jesus Christ to the FSU campus community.
